Girls 12 Year 96 Year Advances

Probably never imagined a person is born upside down, looking old and weak. This case experienced by Hayley Okines, now aged 12 years and has a face and posture like a 96-year-old man.

According to medical analysis, Haylay suffering from disease or premature aging syndrome progeria. "This disease is very rare, only one person among the 8 million people. And the one person that happened to be my child," said Kerry (36), mother Haylay Okines.

However, despite her son suffered from a rare disease and is forecast to be only a maximum 13-year-old, Kerry is proud of Hayley.

Unlike other 12-year-old child, Hayley every home school is always tired and complaining all the joints hurt. "Just like the complaints of the elderly if they move too much," he said.

Hayley Okines family originating from Bexhill, East Sussex, strive to give encouragement to her daughter not to give in to such illness.

Hayley had felt his life shattered when I discovered she grows differently than their age. Haylay then gets special treatment with drug therapy for cases of progeria, called FTIs (Farnesyltransferase Inhibitors).

Serum is intended to correct abnormalities and progeria cell damage. This research was done to prevent the symptoms that develop in progeria mice.

"We are ready to accept what will happen to our daughter. However, before giving up, we tried to save his life, as best we could," said Kerry.
